Product Details

Glashütte: Loetz

Large vase of dark violet glass with dense, silvery-yellow flecks, bulbous body with a rounded base, rim tapering upwards, polished rim, surface reduced and matte iridescent, metal mount marked: Juventa Prima Metall. The vase is in good condition. Loetz Witwe in Klostermühle circa 1901, decor Cobalt Papillon, form 1652/III. Commissioned by Hans Peter in Esslingen, height: approx. 31 cm, diameter: approx. 11.0 cm. Lit.: Das Böhmisches Glas 1700 - 1950, Vol. 4, Werkmonographie, Fig. 134 on page 89.
