Large lidded box with silver yellow stain and cut decoration, Haida technical school around 1920

Large lidded box made of colorless, silver-yellow stained glass, conical body with a conically slanted base, multi-faceted walls with alternating fields and all-round cut. Yellow-stained fields with stylized floral decorations and foliage in matt and blank cuts. Conically faceted, tapered lid suitably decorated, polished base with slight traces of sliding. Small polished chips on the mouth edge of the can and on the inner edge of the lid. Haida Technical School (design), executed by Joh. Oertel & Co., Haida, around 1920/21. Height: approx. 22.0 cm, diameter: approx. 14.5 cm.
