A perfume bottle with silver mounts, housed in a travel case. The bottle is crafted from colorless crystal glass with a rectangular body; the sides feature Baccarat-style and wedge-cut facets, while the polished base displays a star-cut motif. The hinged silver mount incorporates a removable stopper and bears four hallmarks (a lion, a letter, an anchor, and the silversmith’s mark). The bottle is in excellent condition, with minor residue inside; the travel case shows slight signs of wear. The silver mounts are by the renowned firm Britton, Gould & Co. of Birmingham, dating to circa 1922. Bottle height: 16.8 cm; dimensions: approx. 7.0 x 7.0 cm. Travel case dimensions: approx. 20 x 10 cm. Note: At the time of production, the travel case was as costly to manufacture as the perfume bottle and its silver mounts combined.
