Covered box with gold and enamel painting, Haida technical school around 1915

Lidded box made of colorless glass, slightly curved body with lid, wall with gold and transparent enamel painting in the form of flowers with foliage and scaly decoration with blue dots in fourfold motif repetition, flattened lid with ovoid handle, lid appropriately decorated. The box is in good condition, the gold decoration is slightly rubbed in places. Design by the Haida technical school, executed by local glassworks, around 1915-20. Height: approx. 13.5 cm, diameter: approx. 9.0 cm.
