Amber-colored footed bowl with square plinth, Josephinenhütte, Fr. Pohl

Large footed bowl made of high-quality amber-colored lead crystal with difficult corner cuts, square plinth, faceted shaft, bell-shaped fourteen-faceted bowl, polished bowl rim. Base plate with dislocated tear. Small chip on the lower edge of the foot, base with traces of sliding. Count Schaffgotsch'sche Josephinenhütte. Design Franz Pohl Junior, form no. 7733. ca. 1890-1910. Height: approx. 18.2 cm. Diameter approx. 17.6 cm. Lit: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50, page 252. The bowl shape won a prize at the World Exhibition in London in 1891.
