Glashütte: Neuwelt
Beaker made of colorless glass, barrel-shaped body with nine-layered, polished base, oval medallion of a matte-cut bust of King Frederick II of Prussia on the front, after an engraving by D. Cunego; side walls decorated with floral festoons, rocaille ornamentation with latticework, spheres, and palm fronds; polished and beveled rim. The beaker is in good condition. Bohemia, second third of the 19th century, height: approx. 11.0 cm, diameter: approx. 7.5 cm. Lit.: Sabine Baumgärtner, Portrait Glass, pages 210 and 212.
