Green glass cup with silver & gold painting, Russia or Bohemia around 1840

Footed cup made of green glass, multipass roller-cut base, short shaft, faceted wall that widens upwards with six spheres and stone arched fields, in the spheres bird and flower motifs in silver and burnished gold painting and the motto "To the memory", contrasting gold-plated lip edge. Facets offset with fine gold line decoration. Cup is in intact condition, gold painting is more heavily rubbed. Russia or Bohemia around 1840, height: approx. 12.8 cm.
