Elaborately crafted tazza with a silver base and mythical creatures, Bohemia around 1835-40.

High-quality glass bowl with a silver base. Bowl made of colorless glass, deeply hollowed body with flared, scalloped bowl rim, this with very finely executed stone-cut ornaments, stained ruby red with engraved latticework and flowers, wall with curved wedge-cut decoration, partially glazed ruby red with painted latticework and rocaille decoration. Silver base with a depiction of the plastic mythical creature on a fluted, stepped round base, the underside of the foot with two unidentified hallmarks / city and master's mark. Jagged edge of the bowl with several small chips and small damages, silver base with small dents. Bohemia around 1835-40. Height: approx. 17.0 cm, diameter: approx. 21.0 cm.
