Art Deco glass bowl with wrought iron fittings, France around 1920

Large Art Deco bowl made of colorless glass with violet and light blue powder melts in the intermediate catch, polished bowl rim with age-related signs of wear (fine scratches and micro chip from being removed from the frame), elaborately crafted metal mount made of wrought iron with sculptural decoration and curved curlicue handle, grapes and tendrils . Shell is in intact condition. France, 1920s, comparable objects were made by Delatte and Muller Frères, Lunéville. Height: approx. 25.0 cm, width: approx. 47.0 cm, depth: approx. 36.0 cm.
