Champagne cup with caricature by Hans Schleichmann, Bakalowits, Vienna around 1900

Cup / champagne cup made of colorless glass, on the face side on the slightly conical wall in polychrome transparent enamel on a pre-printed figurative personage of Viennese life with the inscription: "Dös is halt a Schan! What?", inscribed by H. Schlissmann, gilded lip edge, base with dislocated tear-off . Hans Schleichmann for Bakalowits & Söhne, Vienna, around 1900. Height: approx. 10.4 cm. Lit: Hans Schleichmann, 1852 Mainz-1920 Vienna, painter, graphic artist and glass painter, came to Vienna at the age of five, employee of the "Flying Sheets" and the "Humoristische Blatten", member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus since 1887.
