Vase made of dark purple glass, offset round base, spherical body with bowl rim extended six times and pinched inwards six times, wall with colorful opaque enamel decoration,with stylized flowers and leaves of the thistle, surface matt iridescent, base with a dislocated tear and inscribed in white enamel.: 155/1 H/52. Bowl is in intact condition with small scratches on the pinched edge of the bowl. Ferdinand von Poschinger, glassworks in Buchenau around 1900-05, probably designed by Betty Heldrich. Height: approx. 8.8 cm, diameter: approx. 15.0 cm. Lit: Chr. Sellner: Glass Art Nouveau in Bavaria, (variant).
