Cup with a cut depiction of a rider, Glücksburger Hütte around 1730-50

Cup made of colorless glass, raised disc base with tear-off and downward folded edge, baluster shaft with pierced air bubbles, spherical nodus and cup base with honeycomb facets, on the wide cup a matt-cut equestrian depiction on a landscape base with trees and flower festoons. On the back with the inscription “Tapferkeit brings ihr und Freudet”, fused and matted lip edge. Cup is in intact condition. Saxony, Glücksburger Hütte around 1730-50, height: approx. 19.0 cm.
