Glashütte: Josephinenhütte
A pair of large flower arrangement vases made of clear glass, featuring five spherical bodies set together and connected with beaded rings, applied nubs on the side edges, and a wall with engraved and gilded floral decoration with foliage. The vase openings are polished with double burnished gold rims. The vase is in undamaged condition; the gold decoration is heavily rubbed in places. Made by the Josephine Schaffgotsch Glassworks, Schreiberhau, circa 1870-1890. Height: approx. 6.0 cm, diameter: approx. 28.0 cm. Reference specimens in the Passau Glass Museum.
