Large carafe with stopper made of colorless crystal glass, club-shaped vessel body with offset round base, tubular, faceted neck notched on the sides with flared and gold-plated rim, prism-faceted stopper with gold line decoration, base with dislocated tear and painter's mark K. Carafe is in undamaged condition. Count Schaffgotsch's Josephinenhütte, around 1890-1900. Design by Arthur Gerlach, form no. 1031. Height: approx. 36.0 cm, diameter at bottom: approx. 12.5 cm. Lit: Stefania Zelasko, Josephinenhütte 1900-50, page 91.
