Glashütte: Josephinenhütte

Beaker of colorless glass with an emerald-green inner layer; curved, multi-faceted body with gold-line decoration; polished and gilded rim, beveled inwards; polished base with a pontil mark; side features a monogram in ligature. The beaker is in good condition, though the gold decoration shows significant rubbing. Count Schaffgotsch’s Josephinenhütte, Schreiberhau; design by Franz Pohl, c. 1850.
