Large vase made of transparent olive-green glass, iridescent under steam, thick-walled body with optically ribbed vessel body. Wall with fine enamel painting in black plumb and sepia brown: professional depiction of the army trumpet framed by tendrils, putti and garlands, based on an engraving from the Amman Jost registry of estates. Verso descriptive text after Hans Sachs. Polished vase rim with gilding, this rubbed. Vase is in healing condition.
