Large carafe with arched facets and transparent painting, Bohemia around 1870-90

Large carafe with stopper made of colorless glass, solid round base with gold rim, pumpkin-shaped body, at the base with arch facets and gold line decoration, laced, tubular neck with widened mouth, wall with surrounding frieze of vine leaf decoration in transparent painting, mouth edge gilded, base with dislocated tear-off. Hollow blown plug with chipped tear. Carafe is in intact condition, gold decoration is slightly rubbed in places. Bohemia, late 19th century , Height: approx. 36.5 cm.
